The world famous beach of Olympos & Cirali is considered one of the most beautiful in the world and is only 10 minutes away! At this natural 7 km long beach the protected Caretta Caretta sea turtles hatch every summer and crawl into the sea!

Olympos Zaray is situated above the two tourist insider tips Olympos and Cirali at about 250 m above the Mediterranean Sea.

Antalya / Kemer region: The international airport of Antalya can be easily reached in 60 - 90 minutes, two other larger towns Kemer or Kumluca with their fascinating vegetable markets can be reached in about 30 minutes each. Kemer also offers attractive shopping opportunities for example fashion, leather and jewelry. Antalya is a vibrant metropolis with international flair and was EXPO host in 2016.

Recommendation: Reserve a rental car already directly at Antalya airport!

Chimera / Yanartas: The flames of the "Burning Stones" already mentioned by Homer in his famous classical work, the "Ilyias" saga as a fire-breathing monster. The self-igniting gases can be reached in 1.5 - 2 hours by hiking or in a 15 minute drive and a 20 minute hike. Feel free to roast sausages marshmellows or whatever your heart desires. Don't forget to bring your pocketknife tho.

Olympos itself has a rich history from the time it was built to it's time as a pirate stronghold and it's more recent transformation into an interesting excavation site with impressive ruins next to a river partially overgrown by the jungle!

Antalya is considered one of the most beautiful cities in the world and offers an impressive old town, it's old and the new harbor, as well as the museum Antalya Muzesi (set link!), the world's largest tunnel aquarium Antalya and the Aqualand Antalya Dolphinland. Antalya practically has unlimited entertainment possibilities.

Other historical highlights and excavation sites (Hittite, Lycian, Roman, Greek ancient, early Christian, Byzantine, Ottoman) are within a small car trip's reach: Phaselis, Termessos, Kas / Kalkan,Side, Kekova (sunken city); Myra (Nicholas Church), Arykanda, Cleopatra Thermal Spring (for beautiful skin), Olympos, . . .
